Actual fiber content and a little yarn porn.

This lovely Yarn Piratey Goodness was delivered to my mailbox yesterday.  The colorway is called MALAMUTE.  All I can say is that it is gorgeous. Now to decide what to do with it… socks? gloves? Shawl?  There are 480 yards!

Some actual knitting has been going on. This is a set that I made for a birthday gift. They are knit from Bernat Denim-Style in the color INDIGO.  The hat is accurate in color.  It is a navy color.  The hat looks much lighter in the photo, but is actually matches the hat.

Pattern:  Ribbed hat and Scarf from Bernat

Yarn:  Bernat Denim Style

Color:  Indigo

Needles:  Bryspun single points, US Size 8

Now to get them out in the mail!!

And Last, but certainly not least!!!!

This is Kate. (pattern available at Knitty.com)

Kate, was knit and assembled by Stick, Yvonne, Heather, Donna and Dani.

Stick arranged a 5-way toy making round robin swap. We would each pick a pattern, the first person would print the pattern, get the yarn, dividing the pattern 5-ways, and knit part 1; it would then send it on to person #2, etc.: the 5th person completes and assembles the toy and sends it to the person who requested the toy.  This was suppossed to be a couple month project, but it has now been over a year.  Poor Stick, she didn’t know she was arranging this for THE PROCRASTINATOR’S CLUB!

Isn’t she adorable???!!!!  She even has little earrings on, which you can’t really see in this photo.

THANKS STICK FOR ARRANGING THIS!!!! I know it’s been frustrating, but we’ll all be done eventually.
